Presenter Guidelines

Abstract acceptance notifications were sent to registered authors by email. Presentation status can be confirmed on My Page after login.

KSERS 2023는 대면 학술대회로 (오프라인) 개최됩니다.

KSERS 2023 will mainly be held offline congress, so we would like to inform that all participants must be present on-site. Please check the entry requirements Visa or K-ETA in advance. More details

1. Language

  • -Official language: English
  • *Korean Session (한국어 세션) : Resident Session 1, 2/ Community Hospital 1/ Nurse Session

2. Presentation Time

Invited (Symposium) 15~30 min. (Q&A Included)
Plenary 10 min. (7 min Presentation + 3 min Q&A)
Best Oral/ Best Video * 8 min. (6 min Presentation + 2 min Q&A)
Oral/ Video 7 min. (5 min Presentation + 2 min Q&A)
Mentor-Mentee Video * 8 min. (6 min Presentation + 2 min Q&A)
  • *Best presenters of Oral/Video presentations will have the chance to win the award.

3. PPT Format

It is highly recommended that all speakers use the KSERS 2023 PPT format with COI (Conflict of Interest) Declaration when they make their presentation files. Also, this includes the guidelines for using icons to protect or share your information.

COI (Conflict of Interest) Declaration

  • -All Speakers are asked to include in their presentation a disclosure statement regarding the existence of any conflicts of interest, and name(s) of the company/ companies, if any conflict of interest exists.
  • -Please add the disclosure statement on the second page of the presentation slide.
    • *If a conflict of interest relevant to the presentation doesn’t exist, please use the Form A slide.
    • *If a conflict of interest relevant to the presentation exists, please use the Form B slide.

4. Equipment

  • -A monitor and mouse will be provided on the podium for speakers.
  • -There is no keyboard on the podium.
  • -The Slide Note function (Presenter View mode) will be provided by default.

5. Submission the Presentation File

  • -Please submit your presentation file to the Preview Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled session to ensure the files function correctly in the given environment.
  • -Presentation slides should be prepared as an MS PowerPoint file in 2010 or 2013 versions. If you have any other types of presentation files, please inform our staff in the Preview Room in advance.
  • -If you have a video file, we recommend that you save it separately on USB and submit it additionally.
  • *As for the aspect of your presentation file (slides), a ratio of 16:9 screen format is recommended.

6. Preview Room

  • -Location: Preview Room (2F, Lotte Hotel)
  • -Operation Hours: April 27(Thu) - 28(Fri), 07:00 - 18:00/ April 29(Sat), 07:00 - 11:30
  • -If your file contains video or sound, please inform our staff and check the system in advance.
  • -If you wish to present with your own laptop (IBM or Mac), you are required to test it at the preview room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled session.

※ Important note for Macintosh Users

  • -If you use your Macintosh with our beam projector, we ask to bring your own Mac Gender (Connector) Changer. (We don’t provide any devices for Macintosh.)
  • -In order to use Mac presentation files on an IBM(PC) compatible computer, please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below, before bringing it to the preview room:
  • -Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based IBM).
  • -Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT - these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint based IBM).
All E-Poster presentations should be made in MS-PPT and submitted in PDF file in advance by April 12, 2023, according to the guidelines.

  • -Presentation Time: no specific presentation time. The E-Poster will be displayed at the venue during the congress.

2. E-Poster Presentation File Format

  • -All E-Posters should be prepared in English.
  • -Template Download: Click
  • -Screen Ratio: 9:16
  • -Font: Times New Roman
  • -Video & Audio will not be supported

3. Submission E-Poster File

Please submit the E-Poster file (PDF) to the below link by April 12, 2023.
  • -Submit to: Click
  • -Write your paper number (ex. ABS-0001) and Click the abstract title.
  • -Check the abstract information and Upload E-Poster file.
  • -If the file has been uploaded successfully, you can see it in the "Your File" section.
  • -Click the Submit button.
All Video Exhibition should be made in voice-recorded video within 5 minutes and submitted by April 12, 2023, according to the guidelines.

  • -Official language: English
  • -Presentation Time: no specific presentation time. The Video Exhibition will be displayed at the venue as well as online during the congress.

2. Video Exhibition File Format

  • -All Video Exhibition should be prepared in English.
  • -Template Download: Click
  • -Screen Ratio: 16:9
  • -Font: Times New Roman
  • -Video & Audio should be included.

3. How to recording the Video

You can choose one of two ways for making your video exhibition file.

4. Submission Video File

Please submit the Video file (MP4) to the below link by April 12, 2023.
If the video for the exhibition has not been submitted by the deadline, the first file received when the abstract submission will be used.

  • -If there are any problem uploading your file to this link, please submit it to Dropbox link.(Click)
  • -Write your paper number (ex. ABS-0001) and Click the abstract title.
  • -Check the abstract information and Upload recored video file.
  • -If the file has been uploaded successfully, you can see it in the "Your File" section.
  • -Click the Submit button.
